Ben King has been carving with a chainsaw since 1991. As a child he aspired to be a commercial artist and attended art school for a couple of years, but became a professional musician for quite some time, working out of Nashville. Ben toured with Masters of the Chainsaw for eight years, then took time off to write a book and is now back with Masters. Ben is a dedicated purist, carving his creations with only a series of chainsaws and is a master of the "fine touch". He resides in Tennessee's Cumberland Mountains and the Piney Woods of East Texas.
